Illustrated panorama of Bologna in white linework.

Bologna

Giardini Margherita is the straightforward choice close to the old city. Nicholas Green offers another neighborhood park circuit to the west, while Parco della Chiusa in Casalecchio gives you a longer outing through woods and the Reno valley. Travel directly to that park rather than running the busy approach roads.
